New DT Announced!

I'm so excited about the new DT at Sassy Cheryl's.  You can check out the DT members at my new

Each one of these ladies is SO VERY TALENTED, and I'm honored to have each one of them on the Sassy Cheryl's team.  I was overwhelmed by the number of people who showed a desire to be on the team, and I truly wish that I could have had a place for each and every one of them, but I had to narrow it down a lot.  I chose 14 wonderful designers that I'm sure you are going to love.  Their work is amazing!
Here is just a sample of some of their work.
Have a great Saturday ladies.

A Crabby Surprise!

Sassy Cheryl the Baker

Had to take a break

Had to take a break yesterday and work on some greeting cards for a company out in California.  When it rains it pours, and I've been so excited and busy with Sassy Cheryl's that I had to force myself to 'do the work'.  I so enjoy it, but sometimes when I get in a 'zone' it's hard to tear myself away.
These are just a couple of the designs that I'm working on for them, and I thought you might like to see them.
These are separate images.  I just merged them with Photoshop so that you could see.

Hometown Photos. . . Snow, snow and more snow.

A friend of mine posted these on Facebook of my hometown, Staunton, Va.  They recently received about two feet of snow.  These pictures are from downtown.
Lovely, but I'm glad it's there and not here.  I've had enough of this snow.

This is what it normally looks like around July 4th.

Snow and previews. . .

Well I awoke to more snow falling.  When will it ever end?
I know it's winter, but usually in Richmond we don't get much snow, so it's a big surprise when you have three snow storms within a month and a half.  Knock on wood, at least we still have heat and power.
I've been catching up with old friends today on Facebook, putting some sketches together and receiving some wonderful project images in my trusty inbox.
This is just one of the many that I have received in the past few days and I just knew I had to share this one with you when I opened it.  This lovely basket and card was created by Tracy over at
Stamping All Seasons
She created it using the Butterfly Bunny Stamp.
Isn't it the most gorgeous basket!?  I absolutely LOVE it.  I wish I could see it in person, because as lovely as the pictures are, I'm sure it doesn't do the actual project justice.
Make sure to check out her blog for some other fantastic cards as well.

Thanks to all of you for your support!

And yet Another. . . .

Kim over at From My Stamping Room created another beautiful card.  This one using the
Loves Healing Hands-boy stamp.  Doesn't he look so cute!!

Healing Hands

By request:  Loves Healing Hands Digi Stamp

Well, it snowed here in Richmond this weekend and my flight was canceled for my business trip.  I was so upset.  But I caught up with old friends on Facebook and did some searching on the web.  I found some WONDERFUL examples of how people are using my new digi stamps to create some fantastic cards and crafts.  Here are just a few.

This particular stamper Dawn B.
used the Catching Snow stamp to make this wonderful calendar.

and also this wonderful card using the
Snowman in the Moon stamp.

Kizzy Dizzy over at AA used the Share the Love stamp to create this wonderful 3-D card.  She digitally painted this image and shared this with me.  It's absolutely darling.

The stamps are just for coloring with Copics or prismacolors, you can color them digitally as well.
I love receiving these types of surprises in my mailbox, and you should create one and send it to that special someone today.  Besides, with the snow still outside, snowmen are 'still in season.'
